Dianne W. Garner is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University and Western Carolina University. After graduation, she taught Art in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Oklahoma. In 1992, she was given the South Carolina Secondary Art Educator of the Year Award. She has studied with accomplished watercolor artisits and has shown her work in many galleries.

Dianne's original paintings are inspired by her faith in Jesus Christ. He is the source of all beauty. Some of her works were painted during the seven and one-half years of her husband's illness from a massive stroke that left him paralyzed at fifty-one. The works show how the Lord is able and faithful to provide for our needs, even through times of adversity. Two of her exhibits, "HeartStrokes" and "A Celebration of His Messengers", show paintings created during Harold's rehabilitation period.
